FAQ

Frequently asked questions about my photoshoots in Montreal

How much does a portrait photo shoot cost in Montreal?

My portrait sessions start at $180. Each session includes personalized advice, a wide selection of post-session photos, and a set number of retouched photos. Prices can always be adjusted, and additional photos can be purchased after the session.
You can find my detailed prices on the page Services & Prices.

How long is a photoshoot?

A portrait session generally lasts 1 hour. For phototherapy, we take the time necessary to ensure you are comfortable and fully enjoy the experience, but it should take at least 1.5 hours.

Where does the photoshoot take place?

I offer sessions on the island of Montreal, it can be outdoors or at your home.
For phototherapy sessions, we do it at your home, in your own environment so that you feel comfortable and confident and have access to your wardrobe so that you can change your outfit and accessories if necessary.

I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, is that a problem?

Absolutely not! My role is to guide you and give you confidence. Many people think they are not "photogenic" and end up leaving with photos they love. I guide you with gentleness so that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the session. Don't hesitate to check out my client reviews for some feedbacks.

What is photo therapy?

Phototherapy or therapy through photography is a unique experience that goes beyond simple portraits. It allows you to reconnect with yourself, strengthen your self-confidence and reveal your beauty. A real boost to your self-esteem! I explain more in detail on the page Photo therapy.

What is the difference between a portrait photoshoot and a photo therapy session?

A portrait shoot is designed to capture beautiful images, whether for personal or professional use (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, family photos to make an album, etc.)
Phototherapy goes further: it is an experience of reconnecting with yourself, which allows you to see yourself differently, to strengthen your confidence and to embrace your authenticity. I invite you to consult the different pages of my services for more details (Portrait & Photo therapy).

Do I have to take photos in my underwear or naked during photo therapy?

Absolutely not! There are no obligations. We discuss together what you want and expect from the session and we slowly evolve according to what you want and your limits. I always listen to you and the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and at ease.

Will the photos stay private?

Yes. Your photos are confidential and will never be shared without your consent. If you agree to them appearing on my website or social media, this will only be done with your written permission.

Before each session, I'll give you personalized advice (clothing, makeup, accessories, etc.). The most important thing is to wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and that express yourself. If you'd like, we can discuss in advance to adapt the style of the session to your desires.
You can also send me photo inspirations that you like so I know what style you like and what type of photos you would like to have.
For phototherapy sessions, I also offer makeup and hair services. (charged extra).

When and how will I receive my photos?
